List of online resources about and to support Bereaved Children

The library has developed two subject comprehensive subject pages for the HSE Dr Steeven’s Library website, one on Palliative and end-of-life care and the other on bereavement and grief. Childhood Bereavement Network

CBN ‘Grief matters for children’ campaign aims to provide information and support for bereaved young people. This site also includes links and publications for professionals.
Winston’s Wish UK children’s bereavement charity. Winston’s Wish is a leading UK bereavement charity providing support to bereaved families. This site features advice for parents addressing the issue of serious illness and children facing the death of a loved one.
A community supporting and bringing together childrens research organisations in Ireland
A leaflet with useful tips to help parents or guardians talk to children and help them understand death.
US centre providing support & counselling for bereaved children. Site features resource links and materials like books & DVD can be purchased online
